Module club Swiss Trak

For mountain enthusiasts a narrow gauge railway is the ideal form of transport during their holiday. A good example is the famous Glacier-Express, called “the slowest express train in the world”. This train, amongst other local and regional trains, is present on Swiss Trak’s narrow gauge model track. The model track has an idyllic mountain landscape with many bridges, tunnels, waterfalls, lacks, green alp meadows filled with cattle, chalets and farm sheds. The model track is, as customary in the Swiss mountains, a single track railway. The trains can only pass each other at the often picturesque stations. The Swiss Trak model track has several stations and an invisible shadow-station because of which a large variety of trains can drive simultaneously. These digitally controlled trains drive with realistic speeds. The well known yellow post-boxes aren’t missing in the landscape; Swiss Trak won the title “Europameister der Schmalspurbahnen” in 2008.
